GMTH
The Greater Manchester Training Hub (GMTH) provides a single point of access to primary and social care education and training across Greater Manchester.
We believe that working alongside other educational providers, we can promote primary and social care as the career destination for caregivers and healthcare professionals; and provide a vibrant and nurturing environment for anyone looking to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience.
And being based across the Greater Manchester region, we’re passionate advocates for what makes the region so unique. Blending experience and dedication with a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
GM Workforce Bank
The Greater Manchester (GM) workforce bank is an online system that has been developed to support primary care. It enables organisations across Greater Manchester to both share and fill available shifts - providing greater resilience and more opportunities for health and care professionals within our local communities.
Lipids Management
The lipid optimisation programme is endorsed by Greater Manchester CVD Prevention Oversight Group, and part of a wider NHS England lipids optimisation programme.
Working with Health Innovation Manchester. We deliver this programme to help improve the management of cholesterol, increase the detection of those with Familial Hypercholesterolaemia and optimise the use of medicines for patients on the cholesterol management pathway.
We aim to ensure that all patients, across the whole of the GM area, are offered a lipids lowering therapy and receive point of care testing.
The programme is designed to improve the management of cholesterol, increase the detection of those with Familial Hypercholesterolaemia and optimise the use of medicines for patients on the cholesterol management pathway. We aim to ensure that all eligible patients, across the whole of the GM area, are offered a first and second dose of Inclisiran injections and receive point of care testing.
